It is with our heartfelt condolences-the administration and staff of Whipple & Allen Funeral Home, Inc. of Toomsboro Georgia announce the passing of Mr. James W. Todd Jr. of McIntyre, Georgia, Mr. Todd passed away on April 8, 2024, at Atrium Health in Macon, Georgia. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, April 13, 2024, at 12:00 pm from Brundage Mount Baptist Church, 235 Vinson Road McIntyre, Georgia 31054. The family is receiving visitors at the residence of 110 Vinson Road McIntyre, Georgia, beginning April 9th at 3pm- 9pm. Public viewing will be held on Friday April 12, 2024 12:00 pm -6:00 pm. from Whipple & Allen Chapel 132 Manson Street Toomsboro, Georgia 31090.

Mr. James Todd entered into the world on January 25, 1941 to the parentage of the late James Willie Todd Sr. and the late Ada Mapp Todd. Mr. Todd attended school briefly, and entered the workforce early on to provide for and support his family. He became employed at Engelhard Corporation and worked 40 plus years until his retirement. "Big Daddy" as he was affectionately called enjoyed working on cars. He enjoyed spending time with his loving wife and his family. He wasn't very fond of fishing, but he could eat fish all day everyday. Big Daddy transitioned to be with his heavenly Father. He will be forever missed by family and friends. Mr. Todd was preceded in death by his parents, James and Ada Mae Todd Sr. brothers, Sam and Charles Todd, sister Myrtice Satcher.

He leaves to cherish his memory his loving wife, Mrs. Rudene Todd, beloved sons, James Calvin Todd of Tampa Florida Rico L Myrick (Betty) of McIntyre GA, and Walter Todd(Angel) of Milledgeville, GA. silblings, Mary Grimes (Greg), Andrew Todd (Shirley), all of Irwinton, GA. Dewitt Todd and Gloria Todd all of McIntyre, GA. best friend Randolph Walker and Edward Jones, a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
