It is with our heartfelt condolences-the administration and staff of Whipple and Allen Funeral Home, Inc. of Toomsboro Georgia announce the passing of Mr. JV Hollingsworth. Formally a native of Wilkinson County, however resided in Hancock County. Mr. Hollingsworth passed away on March 26, 2024 at Piedmont Macon Hospital, Macon Georgia. A Private Memorial services will be held for the immediate family only. Thank you in advance for respecting our family’s wishes.

Mr. Hollingsworth is survived by his beloved wife Mrs. Minnie T. Brown Hollingsworth of Sparta Georgia, two children, Mrs. Benitra D.(Mr. Montilian) Tripp, Mrs. Ashley C. (Mr. Reginald) Williams Jr. all of Atlanta Georgia, three grandchildren, Nidajzha Tennyson, Sanaa Tripp and Mason Tripp. Two Sisters, Ms. Rose Hollingsworth,of Irwinton Georgia, Ms. Ada Hollingsworth (Mr. Bernard)Golphin, two brothers, Mr. Sammie Hollingsworth, Mr. Herman(Mrs. Alma) Hollingsworth, all of Irwinton Georgia. Mr. Hollingsworth is also survived by a host of other family members and friends.
